The city of Irvine is offering some relief from the heat on August 19. Bring your swim gear to the William J. Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center for an evening of recreational swimming and recreational movie watching. Lifeguards will be on duty. The pool opens at 6:30 pm; the swim fee is $2 per child and $4 per adult (pay at the pool). The movie will be Cars and the screening begins at dusk.
