Lake Forest’s Heritage Hill Historical Park is a perfect spot to explore Orange County’s past during the rancho era. Occurring May 6 from 11 am-3 pm, this annual Fiesta presents Native American and Folklorico dancing, music, piñata breaking and crafts for children. Folks can also experience Charro horse riding and roping demonstrations and other Early California ranching hands-on activities. The historic buildings are open too, courtesy of the Amigos de la Colina docents.
