Just in time for a summer outing, the Birch Aquarium launches this stunning new ongoing
exhibition. Learn about life under the Scripps Pier and discover the hidden world of the Giant
Pacific Octopus. View the enlarged Tropical Coral habitat and observe schooling fish and the
Birch’s rescued Loggerhead Sea Turtle at the Open Ocean habitat. The exhibit’s opening day is
May 22, and the aquarium is open daily 9 am-5 pm (with extended summer hours).
