This month’s Bower Free Family Festival presents a program showcasing facets of Japanese culture, including music, dances, and Taiko drummers. Taking place in the Key Courtyard April 16 from 11 am-3 pm, this springtime celebration also features Japanese food samplings, cherry blossom art projects, and blossom face painting as well as Shan creating some sweet candy sculptures. A recording of the festival can be viewed on Facebook and YouTube one week after it takes place.
