International Day of Peace Celebration

Peace is the word on September 21 at the Pretend City Museum. The acclaimed book, The Kindest Red: A Story of Hijab and Friendship, will be read during the storytimes at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. Afterwards, children will learn how breathing techniques can help their mind and body stay focused and calm. Tie-dying and hand-printing are part of colorful art projects that kids can do throughout the day.
