Float like a butterfly to San Juan Capistrano’s Los Rios Historic District on August 5 between 10 am-3pm to take part in this free festival. A parade starts at 11:30 am (sign up at the info booth by 11 am). Sign up by 12 pm to participate of the Butterfly Hat Contest. A variety of nature-themed programs begin at 1:30 pm and the day also presents local youth dancers, mariachi music and other festivities.
