American Blues and Jazz Festival

The Bowers’ free family festival for July salutes America’s home-grown musical styles: jazz and the blues. Taking place on August 6 in the museum’s Key Courtyard from 11 am-3 pm, the event lets parents and kids experience some live musical performances as well as do hands-on projects – and there will be complimentary face painting too.
