DESCRIPTION:“Horsin’ Around Island Style” is the theme\, and probably
  the mood too\, for this jubilant Balboa Island tradition. Spectators are 
 asked to dress western island style (i.e. cowboy hats &amp\; boots and isl
 and shorts &amp\; shirts)\, and bring beach chairs too. The festive commun
 ity parade kicks off on Marine Avenue at 11 am on June 4 - and the bridge 
 closes at 10:45 am. A post-parade after-party happens in front of the fire
  station.
